Questionnaire for effective exchange of bibliographic metadata – current status of publishing houses
In order to become acquainted with publishers’ processes for exchanging documents and metadata, the project group developed a questionnaire for an online survey. The publishing of this questionnaire is intended to demonstrate relevant aspects of the issue (e. g. methods of data exchange, protocols and interfaces) and to foster reuse of valuable questionnaire elements.

DeepGreen Metadata Schema – for the exchange of publications between publishers and open access repositories
The metadata schema developed by DeepGreen has been intensively discussed at the expert workshop on the 6th of April at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. The many constructive suggestions, such as fewer required fields, incooperation of RIOXX “Best Practice” tips and many more have now been included.

On the 6th of April an earlier announced workshop, organized by the university library Erlangen-Nürnberg as part of the DeepGreen project, was taken place with different experts. They had backround in publishing, library or information science and the main topics were metadata and full text delivery.
