This work package is aiming to establish a continuous and transparent communication within the user community and to present the topic “open access transformation” to the public.
Sub-project 1: Conception and implementation of a communication strategy
Libraries, repositories and current research information systems (CRIS), as well as authors, show great interest in DeepGreen and a permanent DeepGreen service.
Including the knowledge from the first funding period, it is essential to develop a communication strategy that response to all interested parties.
Sub-project 1 involves the following tasks:
- Supervising all project publications and communication tools,
- Presenting the project results at various events (e.g. German Library Congress, Open-Access-Tage, Open Science Conference, other expert conferences, Workshops, Events of library networks like KOBV, BVB, etc.),
- Participation in the International Open Access Week,
- Networking within the user community (ICOLC, DINI working group electronic publishing, GASCO, etc.).
Sub-project 2: Conception and implementation of a final workshop
Starting a permanent DeepGreen service it is essential to present DeepGreen to a broad audience.
The expected outcome will be a transparent communication including already involved parties, as well as interested parties.
